Man, great RTS list. I still have a copy, on CD!, of Dune II (I still haven't played the Ordos campaign through), but I've played Homeworld (superb), Medieval: Total War (deeper than I'll ever fully appreciate), and the Starcraft Demo, a game I did not get into because I was already into the other listed RTS, Total Annihilation. I should dig those disks out-- I bet it'll play great on my newest (though 2.5 years old) PC. TotalA is the Quake of RTSs, if not the genre's Half-Life.
