hah that was cool. Living in Australia where we don't celebrate/actively dislike Halloween, I hadn't carved a pumpkin before now.

Heh. I always think how weird Halloween must look to people who didn't grow up with it (ever since I heard a Spanish teacher describe trick or treating as "going out and begging for candy")- gives me some insight to when someone else's ethnic tradition seems a bit odd...
Anyways, there's a nice physicality to running a big old knife through one of these guys...
At Miller's halloween party there was a bit of a surplus so I just cut one in half, had coconut-like halves to do horsey clip clops with.
