Cool trick with the ctrl-alt-arrow. Actually has some use on a widescreen when showing something to someone.

FYI, found an awesome use for changing the direction of the image on the monitor. Changing Google Books to full screen and flipping the image to the side, I can now either:

+ Read the book one page at a time, kind like a book on a legal pad (and if footnotes are on the same page, even better). I can even do it while lying down, so much more convenient than reading a Google Book on the default image.
