If you adopted a cat and it wasn't mine - I'd have to kill you. And that would make your mother really unhappy. And THAT'S something to feel guilty about.

Could you actually look after a cat with your daily routine the way it is? Does Ksenia like cats? Do you want a cat? If no to any of those, don't feel guilty. If you're actively looking to feel guilty about stuff, there's a list as long as your arm and it doesn't involve cats :-)
