The "cassette death's head" was stamped on British LPs in the late 70s/early 80s: "Home Taping is Killing Music" (death's head symbol) "And It's Illegal!" Remember how the music industry completely collapsed into bankruptcy because of home cassette decks 20 years ago? ME NEITHER!

Of course the difference between now and 20 years ago is that a worldwide distribution medium exists.
(Of course, if music was fairly priced (like $5 a CD) copying wouldn't be a problem)
