Argh! Why was Edwards listening to the press? The national press didn't, as far as I could tell, report so much as a single delegate count, just states won and lost. Ridiculous. He should've stuck it out for the convention and fought it out. His dropout means a mostly-predictable convention that the networks will air anyway-- the only mystery remaining is who will be Veep, and it hardly matters who Kerry picks, since he's probably the micromanaging type.
