we can do it!
Re: your comment to my comment in yesterday's entry, my apology may come from the fact that lately, whenever I send anyone a "critical" e-mail about them, many have gotten offended and have resorted to non-communication as a form of protest, kinda like people who instead of saying "no," just don't say anything. Easy to do on the Internet. =D

And I guess just to add onto the topic: I guess when I address gregarious, I'm talking more about in the moment, short term communicating and the types of socializing rather than long term keeping in touch and stuff. I guess another term might be demonstrative/emotive v. dryness/semi-brooding. From my experience of "pop culture" and communications between people, the demonstrative/emotive approach can elicit more receptiveness while dryness/brooding can make people uneasy. At the same time, the dry side is really part of your charm. . .and I don't offhand think of you as the brooding type, even thinking beyond first impressions, I guess there might be some broodiness there, but it's not like dark, goth broody. . .more like you simply think more than most people.
I guess from my experience of hearing people comment about brooding or shy people is that they came off as "arrogant." I'm not saying that you're shy or overly brooding. . .just rambling at this point.
But yeah, I think there might be something to looking at people in social situations in a spectrum of demonstrative/emotive to dry/brooding.
Hmmmmmmmmm. . ..

Sorry, but ideas are exploding into ideas.
This whole thing might possibly reflect one of the stereotypical difference between genders. Men are rational while women are emotional. Then there's the whole complaint that women supposedly make, "We don't talk enough about our emotions," then when men try to talk about those emotions, it still isn't what the woman wants! Again, it's possibly because men try to rationalize and understand those emotions while women supposedly just want to emote and demonstrate those emotions and commiserate over those feelings. Men supposedly want to understand things while women supposedly want to share things and commiserate over experiences and not necessarily analyze them.
Again, I'm working with stereotypes and generalizations here, the types of things that all that gender talk does during discussion groups do. That have anything to do with what we're talking about?
I will try to stop thinking. . .stop thinking, boy! Work. . ..
