Yeah, eating some sugar after exercising is supposedly a good thing for getting the most out of exercise. Something about insulin boosts helping with body development.
Then again, there's also the point that exercising lowers your blood sugar quite a bit, so food after exercise basically helps to re-balance your blood sugar level. On the other hand, I don't think eating before exercising really has as much of a similar benefit.
I bet EB would have good info on this one.
