The Star Trek discussion would certainly weed out a good amount of the dates. Whether it weeds out the good ones or bad ones is still up for debate.
Lincoln didn't appear as a marble statue. He was just sitting in a chair, and floating otherwise unprotected in space. That's how I remember it.
