I'd like to see the Cubs beat the Sox in the World Series. But really, to have both teams in the final games would rock.
It's about time the Cubs threw off their curse, too.

"I find it fascinating that most people plan their vacations with better care than they plan their lives. Perhaps that is because escape is easier than change."

Lex: yeah, it would be the ideal World Series. If the Sox hadn't won it all a few years ago, there would be lots of jokes to make about the Universe ending. (Actually, if the Indians were there, those jokes can still be made.) I would want the Red Sox to win, but losing to the Cubs would make it more bearable.
So, who's quoting Jim Rohn?
It's an interesting quote, but a bit facile. I mean, you plan a vacation because you CAN plan a vacation, and expect to wind up with something very close to what you planned, less so with "life". And a vacation is fairly isolated, with clearly delineated boundaries... almost by definition "life" is deeply linked to...well, everything.
Which doesn't mean I'm not a bit of a "coaster" when it comes to life decisions. But still.
