I must have something broken. I had my usual reaction to the big fight scene: sure, it was tense and exciting, but I was just waiting for it all to end. Probably because I have a hard time following the action sometimes.

No, there were a lot of times I didn't quite know what was going on as well, fight wise... they had a lot of interesting "human height" viewpoints which didn't always spoonfeed the audience as to the actual action.
Which I kind of applaud, it's like it captures some of the chaos and unknown-by-the-participants action of an actual battle.
