me and ellio down by the schoolyard
I used to think I could get Heelys instead of a bike, and get to work faster and with less effort. Then I bought them, and found out that my workplace is ever so slightly uphill.

Did I ever mention the nasty spill I took in a parking lot that was a little steeper than I expected, before I got the hang of the "run to a stop" thing?

Great post. Rudy was applying the berokn window theory of criminology  one shattered pane sends the signal that its okay' to break out all the others, and that's how a neighborhood falls (from the book the tipping point ). Using the same concept to combat bullying in the classroom is a fantastic idea.
