back on our BS (big scary)

me and my tuba back on our BS (Big Scary)

Remember when you were a precocious teen, and you're like, "huh, I should save all these old letters and school stuff, probably some future biographer of mine will find it useful, once I'm renown in the intellectual circles..."

Or was it just me?
Of course, then it's hard to admit some of that old stuff isn't even that interesting to ME. But still hard to discard, since it's literally irreplaceable.
Heh, thinking of that last photo that got pretty decent play on FB - I don't love it but I can't think of anything else that has the same kind of social graph for me.

But you're at the whims of the damn algorithm, that wants to pretend you love random engagement shit as much as stuff from other people, which sucks.
One quirk is, I think for purposes of the FB/Instagram autocrosspost stuff, the algorithm seems to favor "one photo, possibly with description" over galleries. Like on the one hand, there is something to be said for that kind of enforced conciseness. On the other hand it seems to mix up the relationship between humans and machines.
