But their basic view of society and of information is surprisingly Marxist, seeing all human interactions as a power struggle between oppressors and oppressed. For example, in his inaugural address in 2017 Trump announced that "a small group in our nation's capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost."ahahahaha - i've found out that some conservatives really are very confused by this passage, and really can't fathom what Marx actually said, framework wise.
