[[winter dreaming]] reading a letter from Robert First to shakespeare re Romeo and Julliet,RF wrote a famous sonnet, ends his note by saying he reassures his SO by saying she is the gal in his sonnet while WS's is the gal in'my love is not as fair' on a tour of england with rl-- in some kind of youth hostel. she's lying on top of me asks if I want to try 'milking', where she lies on top of me, writhing, a long slow writhe followed by a sharp movement 3/13/97 --- watching return of the jedi special edition.... new scene where luke battles atat's on cloud city at night by making tornadoes- watching it at m.w.'s but i fall asleep-- later exchage strange vows w/ r.l. at prom/diner, sitting at table, weird minister friend,gravy cross on wall... 3/14/97 --- nightmares-- something about child abuse :-/ 3/15/97 --- while on some kind of band or chorus trip with Sara Shansky and a black guy who was in Hamlet, I'm passed a joint by my mom. Hmmmm. 3/22/97 --- riding with r.l. driving, she takes off a wool cap revealing a severe haircut on top. At some kind of fair I'm asked by a woman to tie some balloons to the top of a tree. 3/27/97 --- flying a small helicopter over some african Lake George likelace on a search-and-rescue for some kid. I'm flagged down by a swimming native kid. He ends up talking me into giving him a lift to his hut. At some point he starts bitinc my chest, later my hand doing some weird scarification thing. His dad gets me to take him to America. 3/28/97 --- in some kind of doom-like game, complete with some red machine gun soldiers. Somehow I get doubled in height and my shotguns get replaced with magic weapons- tough to get ammo. 3/30/97 --- Bought a $5 ring for R. It was gold, the bottom had gold diagonally cut with blue, instead of a stone the top stretched into red and green irridescence like the bugs the guy had at work. I go to meet R. for lunch, we're listening to some kind of salsa band playing Oye Como Va, R starts talking to a sad faced latino who somehow becomes D., who annoys me by singing out the interval progression of the next slow song the band plays, by twirling R's hair, by R saying 'come eat with us.' (not in that order) 4/4/97 --- search for secret knowledge suck it loudly dew seeks excellence --slogan for Mountain Dew 4/5/97 --- weird lynching party after me 4/7/97 --- lots of r. dreams lately. Lena had one where she saw me and r eating at a tufts cafeteria looking very together and I payed for her. I've dreamed of us in an apartment on top of a salvation army corps, another by the shore (where I was swimming with dylan- afterwards i was spitting out teeth like saltbits and plastic 6-pack rings that were molds of my teeth) and then telling her of these dreams in a kitchen, my boss doing dishes behind her, her facing me standing as I sit, her legs straddling one of mine, kissing, her flicking her tongue beaween my lips. Aargh, betrayed by my own dreams. 5/6/97 --- one of the marx brothers (looks like harpo sounds like chico) is arguing about the placement of this 'monroe doctrine' thing the other guy is trying to get rid of. they finally settle on a shelf beneath a world map. chico reaches behind the shelf pulls up a ripped right half of the same map 'hey, is thisa a version of da same map, or you justa gotta too much of thea spanish italian, anna yugosloviana-speakina countries?' It made me wake up giggling 5/17/97 --- demonstrating the pilot for Spock from Star Trek. Very vivid, a little weird. 97-5-29 --- with a bunch of friends (mostly women- and Mara?) in some gym or auditorium- i was in love with one of them. There's an indoor swing ride and we sing that swahili viumbe vyote song. We sleep, then play indoor baseball the next day. It's around the 4th of july or new year's. The woman and i grab some fireworks- we light cigarettes and I come up with a romantic idea of smoking as if we were coastantly getting a light off of eachoter's cigaqette, staying like that for hours. 97-6-18 |
